Commitment to Sports

For three decades, we have been the proud flagship sponsors of the Kingston Wharves Limited     Under-15 Cricket Competition. The competition underscores the transformative power of sports and continues to receive support from cricket enthusiasts throughout the Caribbean. More importantly, it has opened up long-term career opportunities for participants. Some of Jamaica’s and the region’s most illustrious cricketers had their beginnings in the KWL Under-15 Cricket Competition.

Chris Gayle, Andre Russell, and West Indies former Under-19 players Ramaal Lewis and Marquino Mindley (now drafted to regional teams), are but a few of the distinguished players who are alumni of this developmental competition.

Kingston Wharves also extended its involvement in youth cricket to include sponsorship of the Jamaican Under-15 Team who participated in the West Indies Cricket Board’s regional competition when the games were hosted in Jamaica.
