KWL Statement – Employee Injured

An employee of the Kingston Wharves Group (KW Group) was injured yesterday, Monday, September 11, 2017, as a result of an accident during routine terminal operations. The injured employee was transported by ambulance to the Kingston Public Hospital for medical treatment for his injuries that are considered serious.

The accident which occurred in the early evening, during routine operations, is currently being investigated and the relevant authorities have been notified. We are providing support for the employee’s family and we continue to pray for our colleague’s full and speedy recovery.
