Kingston Wharves Reads Across Jamaica

As part of Read Across Jamaica Day 2019, a team from Kingston Wharves Limited visited the Union Gardens Infant school to share stories from local and international authors with the youngsters.  Students from the Union Gardens Pre-School were also brought over to the Infant School to participate in the event.  

KWL team members took the children through thrilling adventures, including Dr. Seuss’ Oh the Places We Go; Freddie and the Fairy; Dora the Explorer, Chocolate Me and others.  

After the reading session, the students were treated to milk and cookies by the KWL team. A grateful Principal Gracie-Ann Moss-Solomon thanked the KWL staff for the wonderful experience they shared with the students.
